Harry Nuriev – Playful Transformation
Paris-based artist and designer Harry Nuriev, founder of Crosby Studios, brings bold minimalism and emotional clarity to a new aesthetic. For Westwing, he transforms some of our most well-known pieces playing with simplicity, pattern, and the idea of everyday beauty.
"In contrast to the seriousness of the world around us, sometimes we just need something playful and uncomplicated.“
Strong forms, bold statements. Harry Nuriev’s designs stand on their own, stripped down, but full of character. His own naive-styled sketches run through the collection like spontaneous thoughts – raw, honest, and full of charm.
"Beauty has no logic. You feel it, without fully grasping it."
The white and grey chequered pattern of the collection pays homage to the digital 'zero point'—a blank canvas as seen by designers when they begin a new project. It marks the starting point of every design and the beginning of each creative process.
"I like the idea of an unwritten surface, upon which each person can decide for themselves what they see in it."

“My goal was to translate our universe into something anyone can take home and make their own - a piece of the Crosby world."
"I love the thought that this pattern allows everyone to project their own interpretation onto it - to see what they want to see. "
"With our collaboration with Harry Nuriev, we’re pushing the boundaries of what Westwing can be - bold, creative, unexpected." – Delia Lachance, Westwing Founder
GLACE isn’t just a mirror; it’s an invitation to see yourself through the lens of design.
All pieces in the CRISTAL series are engraved with Harry Nuriev’s distinctive, sketch-like Crosby Drawings. The hand-drawn motifs reflect the artist’s creative language, transforming functional surfaces into quiet works of art.
